WHAT THE HACK?

This is a chance to meet new people, learn something, dream along, have fun.

At #CINEMAJOURNEY we are challenging you to think about all relevant digital touchpoints before, during and after your cinema visit. We are looking for features, functionalities and user experiences that engage cinema enthusiasts on a daily basis – even when they are not in the cinema. We are looking for smart links from the virtual world into the real world. And back.

WHO CAN COME?

EVERYONE IS WELCOME – The word “Hackathon” may sound too techy, but remember this is an event to explore, experiment and learn by turning together creative ideas into projects. Cinema lovers, business minds, designers and developers, you are all invited to get together. #innovateordie

SOUNDS COOL. HOW DOES IT WORK?

Very easy. Every participant is given one minute time on Thursday afternoon during the kick-off to present their idea to the rest of the crowd and afterward, we all get together in teams to start working.

DO I NEED AN IDEA TO PARTICIPATE?

NOPE. We are happy if you bring as many ideas as possible to the event, but you can join other teams and work on their ideas too.

WHAT DOES IT COST ME?

Nothing, nada, zero. Everything we provide will be free, so you only need to worry about what you’ll achieve over the weekend.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

A laptop, at best an idea, and motivation. The rest you get from us!
