Recto VRso

Recto VRso is an international exhibition of art and virtual and mixed reality held during the Laval Virtual event. Founded by artist-researcher Judith Guez, Recto VRso aims to invite artworks of artists, researchers, students and explorers who question the virtual reality medium, directly or indirectly, so as to bring out new artistic forms.

#1 Virtual: Emergence

From 14th to 16th April 2021, an event in the Laval Virtual World offers a virtual conference programme, debates, meetings and discussions about issues of creation and diffusion today, gathering players from digital and comtemporary artistic fields, as well as an artistic celebration appealing to the public with a selection of works of online art.

#2 Physical: Restitution

From 7th to 11th July 2021, in parallel of the VR/AR event Laval Virtual, Recto VRso occupies the Musée-Ecole de la Perrine in the town of Laval for a restitution of about ten artworks selected after the annual call for projects and projects of invited artists. These creations will also be exhibited in the Virtual Gallery of Recto VRso 2021, an imaginary space with virtual codes, reversing the usual models of access to art.
